A Priestess Perspective on Healing the Culture
Why is the Divine Feminine coming into the collective consciousness so strongly?
Why is the patriarchal establishment crumbling?
Why can’t the fundamentalists of the Abrahamic religions stop warring?
If everyone softened enough to allow the Divine Feminine in their soul to receive the love we were all meant to receive, this would be a very different world.
This is one priestess’s opinion putting things together I have discovered that points to something potentially miraculous.
Why do you think She was cut out of everything? (but not completely) Why do you think women became either demonized, viewed as property, or less competent, weak, and fragile in the Abrahamic monotheistic religions?
I’m sure more will be revealed. For now, I want to focus on the inner work needed that so many of us resist. This is attachment wounding, being separated from a fully integrated empowered mother or caregiver instead of what most of us had. Even if it skipped a generation the misogyny is too deep and goes back too far. We are clearing it from our DNA. Let’s get a bigger picture before coming back to the inner work.
We are coming back into balance after 5000 years or more of a patriarchal “power over” dynamic. Evidence of goddess worship was found with the discovery of the “Venus of Willendorf” statue believed to be 22,000-24,000 years old. According to Smithsonian Magazine the Homo sapien lineage began between 550,000 - 750,000 years ago.
Powerful female deities and goddess archetypes were in all ancient civilizations and persisted until the patriarchy took over. We could blame this shift on the beginning of agriculture when we began growing food crops and building larger empires. Our world became based on consumption, materialism, hoarding, convenience, and using others for our gain with the onset of the industrial age.
Our god became a fear-based god. We got cut off from our gnosis because anyone who claimed to be a channel of Divine wisdom, or Higher Truth was obliterated. If they weren’t tortured and killed they aligned themselves with the patriarchy and their message likely was monetized or adapted into the Religious order such as priestesses becoming nuns during the Roman Inquisition.
Are you ready to return to something based on love, creating life, and relationships?
Consider this for a moment……
“No matter who we are, our first country was a woman’s body, our first element was water, and our first reality was darkness.” Meggan Watterson, Mary Magdalene Revealed, p. 12
A lot of our early brain wiring comes from attunement and the consistent presence of a caregiver. As we are healing emotional wounds and feeling strong emotions, what we may not have received as an infant or child we must give to ourselves. If we don’t take this self-nurturing approach, the old programming continues to tell us there’s something wrong with us when there is nothing wrong with us. You are feeling what wasn’t able to be felt in the body until now. You are worth every minute you spend loving yourself, allowing yourself to float, flow, be in the dark, and be in your body.
Why do you think prioritizing self-care is so difficult for many of us?
We are a culture so disconnected from truly receiving. We receive on a superficial level when many crave deep intimacy, the ability to be vulnerable, and a trusting relationship we can count on. Even if you have a trusted partner, spouse, or friend, you may lack a larger extended soul family. Even if you had all of that, there’s still no one who can give us what we need but ourselves at times and that may require reaching out for guidance on how to get there.
Let’s nurture ourselves and share this overflowing loving magic with our children, each other, and the culture!
It’s ok to focus on going within. For some of us, our spiritual work is to heal ourselves and radiate that embodied state of being. The vast power of the Divine Feminine and the balanced Divine Masculine can alter the course of humanity, and raise secure children into relational, present, emotionally mature adults. In the life span of humanity, we may be returning to a way of relating to one another and the Earth that existed far longer than the violent world we live in today. Are you with me? And So It Is!
