REVIVAL OF CEREMONY

In modern culture, we honor rites of passage such as birth, marriage, death, and graduation. For many Westerners, other milestones and passages go unrecognized such as crossing into adulthood, honoring the elders, and the path of the priestess or mystic.

As we evolve, we create new rituals and ceremonies to honor our stages of growth and rites of passage. We remember the women’s ceremonies that were once celebrated and are currently reviving as we embody the disenfranchised parts of women more fully.

We honor the beauty and innocence of the young girl getting her first blood and teaching her the sacredness of her creative and sexual power. We honor the wisdom accumulated only by experience and age, the wise crone, queen, or sage.

We honor taking bold steps to make changes in our lives such as taking inspired, creative risks or devoting ourselves to a new path or practice. Through ceremonies, we remember and embody our power.

Ceremonies can be created for any major life events or transition. Rites of passage such as divorce, career changes, launching children, retirement, and deep inner work can be supported and acknowledged as you embrace the next phase of your life.

Other ceremonies requested in our community are ceremonies celebrating gratitude, shadow work, honoring a miscarriage, and celebration of life/memorial services.
