FINDING YOUR SACRED COMMUNITY DURING CHALLENGING TIMES
Beautiful Souls,
I write to you at this new moon time in the watery mystical sign of Pisces. I don’t know about you, but my nervous system is shot, overstimulated, and starved for true intimacy of any kind, but mostly with nature and the Divine, physical touch, pleasure, rest, and a long soak in healing living waters. My team and I have pushed hard for 2 years. It’s time now to stop and quench my own thirst for the mystical and explore the nonlinear instead of giving in to the pull of more promoting, more posting, more output. I need a long hit of receiving right now and will get that very soon. I have been here before and remember an old saying of my Dad’s “Stick a fork in me, I’m done!”
When the pandemic hit, it was my sign to jump into the abyss. Why not? Everything is about to crumble anyway. I’m glad I did but I had to realize there’s no clock to beat to wake everyone up. Now I see this is going to take a while and I had better pace myself or I’ll be cooked before my time is done.
My soul is saying stop, allow, listen, receive, channel, commune with Gaia, and be in the liminal. It’s our work right now if this calls to you. It restores and rejuvenates me so I can come back and do the left-brained tasks at hand. Managing all of this right now is a big topic I want to explore more but for now, I will say that my work is to be embodied and assist others on an embodied awakening path. Mysticism and groundedness is a massively difficult walk. I’m still figuring out that walk myself and my body is telling me to get out of my head, feel what’s inside, and allow it to flow, even if it’s uncomfortable for a while. It’s telling me not to succumb to any call but my own and see what happens when I show up for myself.
Callings and passions can still lead back to the patriarchy because it’s the only way we know. When I began setting up the Mystery School, I read Lucy Pearce’s book Burning Woman. As a woman on fire, I could relate to every word. I feel the fire of Shakti and am ready to assist in recreating the world paradigm. Before I know it I’m drained. It happens so easily so I’m sharing this in case you are finding yourself in the same boat.
For those of you who may be new to this community, here’s a little of the backstory of why I felt called. Like many creative entrepreneur seeker types, our soul passion can turn into an obsession that can burn us out before we can deliver the goods. Making a living from it makes it hard but it’s time we do this for ourselves and do what we love. I find that many coaches are highly driven and while motivating and inspiring, can be coming from a patriarchal paradigm. Our paradigm is different because it’s a bottom-up approach, meaning do your shadow, soul, ancestral and deep spiritual work. When you do, the other stuff falls into place. The key?
Here are a few ingredients:
Claim your identity as a healer, priestess, oracle, seer, dreamer, creative, medicine woman, or mystic.
Then wait.
Receive.
If we are to bring these archetypes into our culture and embody them, we need one another for consistent embodied practice, personal power/energy management, support, mirroring, honoring of both the dissonance and resonance from a community of like minds. That’s where we come in!
In late 2019 I was brought forth to fully embrace my spiritual calling. As I grew in this time of personal development and discovery, I realized that it was time — on this planet — for the rise of DIVINE FEMININE values and their spiritual embodiment. I felt strongly that humanity was moving astray in areas of both mental health and physical issues. I began to believe, profoundly, that these issues arise from the emotional and spiritual imbalances that stem from our toxic patriarchal culture. Thus emerged The Tree of Life Mystery School, of which I am so proud and eager to share.
What is a “Mystery School”? Simply put, it is a keeper of teachings extending back before the predominant culture of a “power over” paradigm we have been living in for 4000-6000 years. We can access and “remember” these teachings from more distant times of antiquity when we lived in a “power with” society. They are with us currently and will be increasing in times yet to come. A “mystic” experiences the Divine through direct revelation or gnosis and by remembering through our embodied Divinity. At The Tree of Life Mystery School, we are committed to embodying DIVINE FEMININE values and teachings. We intend to provide resources, inspiration, and offerings that support the accelerated shifts needed so that we can live in harmony with our planet Earth.
